Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them. So a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name. Malachi 3:16
Immediately when I read this passage my mind went back to a children’s song that I learned in Sunday school years ago. Oh be careful little eyes what you see, there’s a Father up above and He’s looking down with love. So, be careful little eyes what you see.
Do you remember that song?
Today, just like every day, the Lord listens and hears every word that comes out of your mouth. He knows who fear Him and meditates on His name. Is that you? If the Lord kept a book of remembrance today, is your name found on the pages?
Two points to take away from this passage:
1. Be mindful of your conversation. It is being overheard.
2. God remembers.
O be careful little mouth what you say. O be careful little mouth what you say.
There’s a Father up above And He’s looking down in love.
So, be careful little mouth what you say.
